Just a solid speed rope. Very smooth has great weight and balance. I ended up buying two extra

Flimsy screws

My rope’s screw kept coming loose and popping off at the gym. Was pretty annoying. Then the black guard on the end of the rope came off. I tried gluing it back on but that didn’t go very far. Overall the quality was subpar given the lack of durability.
