I enjoy hitting bags and pads with these (10oz Velcro). I have used them for light sparring but I own bigger gloves specifically for sparring. I got these for training and they did not disappoint. I've had them a little over 2 years now and although I don't use them daily, they have held up just as well as the more expensive brands I train with. I still keep them in my rotation because I do like the feedback they give, especially on pads, and they still feel great on my hands. Worth every penny and I have even recommended them to fellow boxers and kickboxers. As mentioned in other reviews, they were a little stiff at first but the breaking in period was quick. A couple good bag & mitt sessions and they formed nicely to my hands. I've been wearing boxing gloves since I was 11 and I'm 46 now, and these gloves have been one of my favorites. I would also like to mention that the customer service at Superare is second to none. I've dealt with both brothers (NY & LA stores) and I will support ANY product they stand behind. Keep up the good work fellas!

They come stiff, after some solid rounds on the bag, hitting the mitts they will begin to loosen up. Id say 2-3 gym sessions of work and they are ready to spar in. Now that I have worked them in they honestly feel great, the quality of the glove is very good, they have adequate padding for sparring, especially for hard rounds.
